Test to Get an Entrance in EVMS PA Program

EVMS is the Physician Assistant program which provides master’s degree to you. Want to become Physician Assistant from EVMS

If yes then you have to clear these Test if you are Foreigner or from other country than US.

First test is CASPer Test

CASPER stands for Computer- Based Assessment for Sampling Personal Characteristics. This is an online test to check your soft skills like motivation, integrity and interpersonal characteristics. They believe that this test is important for the students who want to become successful and graduates our program and professional healthcare. Aim of this test is to accomplish the other tools that we use for your screening. By implementing CASPer in our selection process we want to increase the fairness in our result and get brilliant student like you.

All candidates who want EVMS PA program are required to complete this online assessment test to boost the chance of your selection in this course. Prosperous completion of your test is mandatory to maintain your admission eligibility.

Second Test is TOEFL

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language

English language is important for both learning and providing healthcare. That’s why TOFEL score is important.

  1. All candidates who have foreign degree have English as a Second Language.
  2. Any applicant who comes in US after the age of 12 whose first language is not English.

Note:- To become graduate with an undergraduate degree from US institution can’t fulfil this requirement.

The MINIMAL Score to ensure your ability at the graduate level in health care program is 

  1. Internet-based test (preferred): 85  
Note:- Computer-based test: 220 
     2. Minimum of 26 in the speaking component

There is no time limit in this exam. If candidate has met the cut off score and test is not completed then your English proficiency will improve.

The test which is not applicable/ reviewed for your eligibility in the EVMS PA program is

GRE or MCAT

To submit GRE or MCAT scores is not require for EVMS PA Program. Candidate may be submitted their CASPA application for other programs but this score is not reviewed for EVMS PA Program.
